The Colossal Squid is the largest mollusk on the planet! It may grow to at least 46 feet (14 meters) long and weigh more than 1,500 pounds (681 kilograms). (The Giant Squid may grow longer (up to 60 feet long) but the Colossal Squid is bigger around, has a larger mantle and is heavier.

Sea snails (and land snails, too) are the only animals with just one foot.

The giant clam is the largest bivalve mollusk. It can grow 4 feet (1.2 meters) across and weigh more than 700 pounds (318 kilograms).
